What we check, and why
Verification is not paperwork for its own sake. It is why a client trusts the person on the other end of the call, and it is what separates this from a directory of strangers.
Paid immigration advice in Canada is restricted by law to licensed professionals. We treat that as a feature, not an obstacle.
- Every immigration expert holds a licence from a provincial law society, the Chambre des notaires du Québec, or the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants.
- We check the licence against the public register before an expert can accept a booking.
- The registration number is shown on the profile, so you can check it yourself.
- HawkTel is not a law firm and gives no advice of its own.
You do not need to speak your client’s language. That is the point of the platform — translation runs inside the call, in both directions.

We are starting with English paired with Arabic, Farsi, Mandarin, Spanish and Tagalog, chosen against the actual composition of recent arrivals to Canada. More follow as each one clears our quality bar — we would rather not offer a language than offer it badly.
